Sclerotherapy

Earlobe reconstruction is a quick and effective cosmetic surgery procedure to correct ears that have been gauged or torn, or for people who have droopy or sagging ear lobes. In addition to her years of aesthetic experience, she also has years of experience in the surgical field. She is able to offer minor surgical procedures that most aesthetic practices cannot. Her technique in earlobe reconstruction gives you beautiful results with minimal downtime.

Many of us are not entirely satisfied with the appearance of our noses. Perhaps there is a "hump" or some asymmetry, or possibly a prior surgical procedure left undesirable results. Now, it is no longer necessary to undergo painful and costly surgery to obtain a remarkable improvement in nasal contour and symmetry. Dr. Cross has years of experience performing numerous non-surgical rhinoplasties with results that are nothing short of life-changing for many patients. There is a choice of dermal fillers that can be used for this procedure depending upon your needs and your budget.

The procedure itself takes under thirty minutes. Ice or topical numbing may be used for your comfort and a filler containing lidocaine will also make the procedure more comfortable. Afterward, you can expect some swelling, which will be mostly resolved in a few days. You will then return for a follow-up visit, at which time any final touches will be undertaken and will be included in the cost of your original procedure. Down time for the fine-tuning treatment is usually significantly less than the original session. After this session, if any product remains, it may be used elsewhere as determined by where you and Dr. Cross feel that it will benefit you the most.

Overall, patients are extremely thrilled with their results. Dr. Cross' expertise and artistic eye leaves patients with natural, beautiful results.

Sclerotherapy is a well-proven medical procedure that has been in use since the 1930s to treat visible veins on the legs. It involves injecting a solution, generally a high percent sodium chloride, directly into the problematic veins, which cause them to swell, collapse and fade.

Sclerotherapy is the most common spider vein treatment. Spider veins are much smaller and closer to the skin’s surface than varicose veins, which are enlarged veins that look swollen or bulge above the surface of the skin. Red, purple or blue in colour, spider veins’ short jagged lines can look like spider webs (hence the name) or branches of a tree.

This safe and easy procedure is considered the ‘gold standard’ vein treatment, preferred over laser vein treatment for eliminating leg veins. Blood vessels on the legs tend to be resistant to laser treatment, unless they are very small veins that the sclerotherapy is unable to destroy.

Unlike a laser, the sclerosing solution additionally closes the feeder veins under the skin that are causing the spider veins to form, thereby making a recurrence of the spider veins in the treated area less likely.

As we age, our lips begin to loss volume. With a micro-droplet technique, Dr. Cross can make them look plump and soft by growing your own collagen. With her experience and artistic eye, she produces natural results that never look over-filled. With this treatment, usually done in three sessions, you don't have to keep coming back every time the filler dissolves.
